Windy or sunny days a lot of energy is produced, and really cold days power consumption increases. To always have 230 V in your house’s wall sockets the power company needs to balance the power grid.
Starting 2024 new regulations are implemented in Sweden alloweing smaller power balancing service providers to offer this service directly to the power company without any middle hands.
