As cybersecurity requirements tighten across the EU, the need for knowledge and preparedness is growing among both tech companies and executive teams. Starting in 2025, new regulations such as the RED directive and the CRA (cyber resilience act) will come into effect – impacting how companies must approach security. To meet this need, Svep Design Center offers cybersecurity training tailored to different target groups within organizations.

Training for engineers, managers, and executive teams

Svep’s training programs are organized into modules targeted at various roles within the company. Technical teams gain in-depth knowledge in secure system design, threat modelling, and risk management, while managers and leadership receive support in understanding strategic and legal requirements, including responsibilities under the new EU regulations.

“We’re seeing a growing need for the entire organization – not just the IT department – to be involved in cybersecurity matters,” says Mikael Bergqvist, CEO at Svep. “Standards like EN 18031 and directives like NIS2 place increased responsibility on leadership, and it’s important to be prepared in time.”

Collaboration with Intertek – for quality-assured training

In collaboration with Intertek, a Notified Body (NB) for CE certification and cybersecurity assessment, Svep also hosts a supplementary seminar for companies looking to understand the CE marking process and compliance with new regulatory requirements. Together, Svep and Intertek support everything from strategy to technology – all the way to a compliant and approved product.

Practical knowledge in focus

The training is based on real-world examples and common threat scenarios. Participants will learn, among other things:

  • How to identify and manage cybersecurity threats in products and systems.
  • What RED, NIS2, AI Act and CRA mean in practice.
  • How to work proactively with security requirements and documentation.
  • Roles and responsibilities – from developers to board members.

Flexible delivery – on-site or digital

Svep’s cybersecurity training can be delivered on-site at the customer’s location, as part of a workshop, or digitally depending on the organization’s needs. Content is customized according to industry, product category, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
